You think Tokyo is expensive? Maybe, but you can still find a number of venues serving a 1000-yen combo lunch near Shijuku.

Great. Now, anyone wants to know where the Tokyo Institute of Technology is? The address is: 東京都目黒区大岡山2-12-1 [quick link]. And no, I won’t post my home address here [even though there will be a very remote possibility that someone would send home some food for me

Twenty Five
A nice metaphor used by the teacher today:
“Supposed you are trying to sell a pen, and there is someone nearby that is willing to pay you 100 yen for it, but you know for sure that by the corner of the road — say 200 meters from where you are now — someone is willing to pay 2,500 yen. Which one are you going to choose?
”
* even the laziest person would get up and grab the MUCH bigger reward *
===========================
From sahih Bukhari: Volume 1, Book 11, Number 620:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah’s Apostle said, “The reward of the prayer offered by a person in congregation is twenty five times greater than that of the prayer offered in one’s house or in the market (alone). And this is because if he performs ablution and does it perfectly and then proceeds to the mosque with the sole intention of praying, then for every step he takes towards the mosque, he is upgraded one degree in reward and his one sin is taken off (crossed out) from his accounts (of deeds). When he offers his prayer, the angels keep on asking Allah’s Blessings and Allah’s forgiveness for him as long as he is (staying) at his Musalla. They say, ‘O Allah! Bestow Your blessings upon him, be Merciful and kind to him.’ And one is regarded in prayer as long as one is waiting for the prayer.”
Further importance of doing the prayer in congegration can be found starting from sahih Muslim chapter 84.
Insya Allah
23. And never say of anything “I shall do such and such thing tomorrow”
24. Except (with the saying) “Insya Allah” (If Allah will). And remember your Lord when you forget and say: “It may be that my Lord guides me unto a nearer way of truth than this”
